America’s Tveter Is Featured
On CNN Money Switzerland
ZURICH, Switzerland, Feb. 1 - American GP3 Series driver Ryan Tveter of Oyster Bay, N.Y. was a featured guest on the television show “Front Seat” on the newly launched CNN Money Switzerland channel this week.
Tveter, who had three podium finishes and three other top-five finishes last year in the extremely competitive series for future Formula 1 hopefuls, told host Hannah Wise about his career and his training regimen.
Part of that training includes mental preparation developed by the late Dr. Aki Hintsa, who was McLaren’s team physician, a confidante of many top F1 drivers, and one of Tveter’s mentors. Dr. Hintsa’s work is being continued by his business partner, Jussi Räisänen of Hinsta Performance. The methods are used not only by Tveter and other athletes but also by executives like Tveter’s father, Eric. The latter is the chief executive officer of Liberty Global’s Central Europe Group which includes UPC, Switzerland’s largest cable operator.

Tveter plans to return to the GP3 series this year to compete for the championship. Details will be announced soon.
In addition to his primary sponsors, Tveter provides exposure for several not-for-profit groups through his racing program: Right To Play, MTV Staying Alive, and the Lessons for Life Foundation.
